Collaboration between universities and Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) can facilitate knowledge transfer and stimulate the production of new knowledge and technology. This paper addresses the limited collaboration venues between universities and MSMEs in the food processing sector in Jordan. The paper puts forth policy recommendations to increase collaboration and enhance communication to facilitate innovative outputs in the food processing industry.This policy paper is part of the project entitled «Public Policies for Innovation in Jordan: Realities and Ambitions» implemented jointly by the West Asia-North Africa Institute (WANA) and the Konrad-Adenauer- Stiftung (KAS) – Jordan Office.
