Humanitarian Approaches to Support Jordan’s Sustainable Energy Vision

On 28 June, the WANA Institute, Chatham House, EDAMA and NRC hosted a workshop to discuss the outcomes from the Green Affordable Homes project and the use of solar energy for al-Mafraq Hospital’s water heating system. The event was part of the Moving Energy Initiative and gathered members of the Energy and Water Working Group as well as a selection of external experts. Participants brainstormed on how to upscale similar initiatives and discuss the Working Group's future agenda to support the energy priorities of the Jordan Response Plan and enable sustainable financing.
