Young Mediterranean Water Heroes” World Water Day 2019 Youth Workshop

Dr Majd Al Naber, Team Leader and Senior Researcher Sustainable Development, will be participating in the “Young Mediterranean Water Heroes” World Water Day 2019 Youth Workshop in Marrakesh, Morocco, from 25 to 28 March. She will be a speaker in the session on Climate Change and Migration.

The workshop will gather 60 young Mediterranean water professionals and experts around the United Nations World Water Day 2019 theme: “Leaving No One Behind: Water for All,” with a specific focus on water and migration. The workshop will consist of four days of participatory and interactive sessions on water and migration and will expand the CMI-managed “Mediterranean Youth for Water Network,” which gathers young Mediterranean water professionals to amplify the effect of the voice of youth on the Mediterranean water agenda.
