From June 17-19, Salma Nasser, Specialist Research and Studies in Human Security and Social Justice, participated in the Euro-Med Youth Dialogue in Brussels, organised by the Anna Lindh Foundation. The dialogue entailed engagements with high-level EU officials, most notably Dubravka Šuica, Commissioner for the Mediterranean, and desk officers from the EEAS and DG MENA. In addition, Salma featured as a panellist on the role of youth in revitalising people-to-people engagement. During the research workshop, Salma presented her policy-oriented research on narratives surrounding Syrian refugee return in the EU, Lebanon and Jordan to a panel of experts, to be published in due course.
