Half-day Roundtable on a Strengthened Civil Society Sector in Jordan

As a part of the Jordan’s Civil Society Initiative project, the WANA Institute is hosting a half-day roundtable on strengthening civil society organisations. The meeting will take place on 18 September at the Royal Scientific Society in Amman.

Academics, policy-makers, and experts from think tanks are invited to discuss the current situation of civil society organisations in Jordan, and to work together to find a common ground to enhance their role. They will also discuss the advocacy strategy for regulatory reform, which was developed during a two-day workshop on 12 and 13 August with community-based organisations.

This event is part of the Jordan Civil Society Initiative project, funded by the Middle East Partnership Initiative (MEPI).
