On September 5, we had the pleasure of hosting Ms Katrina Sammour, Political and Security Analyst, as our speaker at this month's session of the WANA-KAS Think Tank School — implemented by the West Asia–North Africa Institute in collaboration with the Konrad-Adenauer-Stiftung – Jordan Office.
Ms Sammour brings over 10 years of experience in research and analysis, with expertise in radicalization, youth movements, political communication, and identity politics.
The session addressed the human security challenges facing Jordan today and examined how global and regional transformations are shaping the Jordanian context. Ms Sammour also shared valuable insights on conducting effective analysis and the importance of cultural context, local knowledge, and historical precedent in analytical work.
We extend our sincere thanks to Ms Sammour for her valuable contribution, and to all participants for their active engagement in the discussion.
