This policy paper is part of the project “Policies Against Violence—PAVE,” supported by the European Union and the Friedrich Naumann Foundation for Freedom (FNF). It presents the general legal framework governing women’s participation in the Jordanian Labour market, focusing on issues related to Gender-Based Violence (GBV). The paper presents several policy recommendations, which include revising legislation to ensure safe and fair working conditions and rights for all, protecting workers, especially women and women with disabilities, from all forms of violence, and institutionalizing legal accountability and reporting on incidences of harassment and violence that are clearly defined by the law.
