Book Launch: Infatuated with Martyrdom

Senior researcher Dr Neven Bondokji moderated the discussion during the Friedrich-Ebert-Stiftung’s book launch of Infatuated with Martyrdom: Female Jihadism from Al-Qaeda to the ‘Islamic State' by Hassan Abu Hanieh and Dr Mohammad Abu Rumman. The commentators were H.E. Dr Abdel-Elah Al-Khatib, Member of the Senate, and Dr Ibtesam Al-Atiyat, Associate Professor of Sociology, St. Olaf College- Minnesota (United States); Consultant, Hussein Technical University.

The event was held at the Crowne Plaza Hotel, The Nabatean Hall, on Tuesday, April 11, 2017, from 06:00 p.m. to 08:00 p.m.
