Workshop on Climate Change and Security

July 24-28, 2023. WANA Institute's Director-General Dr Majd Al Naber, attended the research workshop on the climate-security nexus organised by the George C. Marshall European Center for Security Studies. During the workshop, several topics were covered from climate change, energy transition, technology pathways and geo-engineering to economic and social implications and threats of climate change on national and regional security in the Levant, Middle East, North Africa and Sahel and the European High North and Arctic.
