The Climate-smart pathways for an Agile and Resilient Economy (CARE) project is funded by the European Union and implemented by the Royal Scientific Society in partnership with UN-Habitat Jordan.
As part of this project, the West Asia-North Africa Institute is implementing an activity to improve local communities’ access to finance through a revolving loan program. The activity focuses on strengthening the institutional and financial management capacities of four community-based organisations in Madaba Governorate to manage revolving loan funds and facilitate access to financial support for local beneficiaries.
The program aims to support the sustainable adoption of climate-smart technologies and practices at the farm, household, and community levels, enhancing resource security and promoting equitable and sustainable development within local communities.
