Call for Support for the People of Yemen

Lying at the crossroads of Africa, the Middle East and Asia, Yemen, alongwith Mesopotamia and the Nile Valley, represents one of the core ancient civilizations around which the modern Middle East has been built. To the Ancient Greeks and Romans, it was Arabia Felix, Fortunate Arabia. Today, however, the country is mired in conflict which has left much of its economy and infrastructure destroyed and facing a full scale famine.
