The WANA-KAS Think Tank School, a joint project by West Asia-North Africa (WANA) Institute and KAS Jordan Office, kicked off its 2026 edition this week with a group of talented youth engaged in the policy sphere in Jordan. WANA conducted a four-day training for a cohort of youth participants on public policy, policy writing, advocacy, and priority areas in Jordan.
Participants come from diverse backgrounds, including water resources management, law, management sciences, political science, and international development, providing fertile ground for rich discussions.
Over the course of four training days, participants explored public policy and its characteristics, the public policy cycle, and policy paper writing. The sessions included a variety of interactive activities and opportunities for participants to exchange on their diverse expertise.
The programme will run throughout the year with direct supervision from both WANA and KAS.The project now enters its next phase, as participants will work on developing their research ideas and will engage with experts from various fields over the next few months.
