As the concluding event of the six-month project, “EU-Jordan Dialogue on Human Security: Refugees and Forced Migrants in Focus”, WANA Institute and Konrad-Adenauer-Stiftung (KAS) held a roundtable discussion in which three youth professionals presented their policy papers. These papers concerned mis- and disinformation in social media as it surrounds COVID vaccinations, refugees, and foreign aid; improving the Syrian education-employment pipeline from Jordan to the EU; and the potential for solar power to be a main source of energy for Syrian refugee camps in Jordan. The authors engaged with an audience of INGO representatives, Jordanian civil society, and academia, mainstreaming their findings and recommendations in policy conversation.
