Project to Strengthen Jordanian Civil Society Comes to a Close

80 Community-Based Organisations (CBOs), youth initiatives and policy think tanks participated in the WANA Institute's Civil Society Project, funded by the European Union and carried out in cooperation with the National Centre for Human Rights. 

The participating organisations took part in various capacity-building workshops. The project also focussed on Jordan’s development priorities, the role of civil society organisations (CSOs) in protecting human rights, the needed policy reforms, and how to increase policy dialogue opportunities for youth.
