UN Inter-agency Consultation on Preventing Violent Extremism

Human Security researcher Alethea Osborne will be speaking at the UN inter-agency consultation on Preventing Violent Extremism (PVE), organised by the Regional United Nations Development Group for Arab States/Middle East and North Africa on 25 January 2018.

The purpose of the consultation is to develop a common understanding of PVE among UN agencies in the region, and to identify appropriate strategies/responses for action at the country level. As part of this exercise, Alethea will be participating in a panel discussion with other experts presenting on the latest developments/trends in violent extremism in the region.
